Kamaria McCall is the founder and CEO of Empire Fashion Firm. She has progressive experience spanning from the impressive age of 8 years old. Kamaria started out her career in the industry as a model. She began walking in children’s shows and it quickly led her to directing shows. By the age of 16 she’d secured her first internship with fashion designer, Lore Emelio where she directed her first show. Kamaria was already studying at Northwest School of the Arts with a declared major in Fashion Merchandising & Apparel/Costume Design where she ultimately began directing and coordinating the fashion elements of shows both in fashion and globally recognized theatre. Approaching her graduation having gained experience directing many shows, Kamaria was fixated with the idea of moving to Miami, FL to get her degree in Fashion Merchandising & Retail Marketing from Johnson & Wales University. She used her time there to gain event planning experience by working as a coordinator for Campus Events where they executed events with detailed logistics for audiences over 1000 attendees. By now, Ms. McCall had built contacts within Miami’s fashion industry and assisted with shows for Miami Fashion Week, Emilio Pucci, Arnald Scaasi, Saks Fifth Avenue at Bal Harbour, Jennifer Anniston Key to the Cure, J.U.I.C.E. Foundation and Miami Heat NBA children. This experience earned her an opportunity to spend time in Milan, Italy and Florence, Italy where she was able to make connections with Vogue Italia, Marni, Pink & Chic PR Communications, Luisa Cevece, Marni, Fashion Times Magazine, fashion designer, Mauro Gasperi, and many more. Taking these connections, she was able to assist with Milan Fashion Week for John Richmond and The Happy Brand at Pitti Immagine (Pitti Uomo). It wasn’t until she graduated Cum Laude from JWU that she decided that she wanted to use the creation of her own company to impact the fashion industry in ways that were meaningful and lasting to the world yet tractionable for fashion designers and models. She began delving into art, design, the study of light, sound, nature, current market trends, and fashion event production history. Incorporating her accrued knowledge acquired over time and experience, she decided that there were 3 areas that she wanted to serve the world. Kamaria McCall wants to progress the fashion industry, progress art, and progress the world. She established the pillars: to Impact, to Inspire, to Sustain, and to Serve to better support her objectives.
